For the fourth year in a row, South East BIC have sponsored the New Venture Initiative for Third year BBS students from WIT

For the entire semester, this group of students do not attend lectures but run their own businesses.  The Students are mentored by various different academic and business mentors to guide and direct their businesses.  South East BIC provide the Seed Capital for the programme and also provide mentoring support.  This year, Talk Talk sponsored an award for the best new venture and entrepreneur and South East BIC are delighted that they award was won by Padraig Kenny, the student Rosemary Ward of South East BIC mentored.  The students all presented at an event in the college on Wednesday 28th April, where Padraig, who created an online gaming competition, was presented with his prize.
